Ive known Kyla for many years. She wants the best for her clients - whether that means it will turn into a sale or not. Most of the time she tells me what *not* to buy, so when theres a good purchase I know it is genuinely a good investment.

About me

Hi, I’m Kyla — and if you’ve landed here, there’s a good chance you’re thinking about buying, selling, or investing in a home in the Portland area. I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m an Oregon native who spent about a decade living in California — studying at FIDM in Los Angeles, soaking up the sunshine in Santa Monica, Redondo Beach, and Burbank — before finding my way back home to the Pacific Northwest. And honestly? Coming back was the best decision I ever made.

Before real estate, I spent 15 years building and running my own ecommerce business — and after a successful exit, I was ready for the next chapter. That business taught me a lot — how to hustle, how to negotiate, how to build relationships, and how to show up for people when it counts. But even during those 15 years, there was always one thing I did purely for the love of it: looking at homes. Open houses on weekends, browsing listings late at night, touring properties with no agenda other than the fact that I just genuinely loved it. When people asked me what my hobbies were, “looking at houses” was always on the list. So when it came time to decide what was next, getting my real estate license felt less like a career change and more like finally doing what I was always supposed to do.

Today I specialize in helping buyers, sellers, and investors navigate the Portland market with confidence. Especially if you are relocating… I like to think of myself as the Portland real estate agent for California buyers. I own five rental properties across Oregon myself, so when I say I think like an investor — I mean it. I’ve also purchased and remodeled properties as my own general contractor, which means I walk into a house and immediately start seeing possibilities others might miss. That eye for potential is something I bring to every single client I work with.

When I’m not helping people find their perfect home, you’ll find me on my yoga mat, painting, planning my next trip somewhere I’ve never been, or attempting to kite surf without completely embarrassing myself. Pickleball has also recently taken over my life — if you’re a player, we’re already friends. And at home I’ve got my two dogs Brixton and Bobbi keeping me company and making sure I never take myself too seriously.

I’ve been on both sides of big life decisions, and I know how much trust it takes to let someone guide you through one. I don’t take that lightly. Whether you’re a first-time buyer, a seasoned investor, or somewhere in between — I’m here to be the kind of agent I’d want in my own corner. Honest, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in what’s best for you long-term.

Let’s find you something great.
